About the Artist:
Mariota Bosanquet (1923-2022) studied at St. Martins School of Art, London (1945-1949). Her exhibitions include: 1954 Whitechapel Gallery, Suffolk Galleries, Leicester Gallerie, 1955 Piccadilly Galleries, 1967/8 Highbury, 1977 Home of Artists Islington, 1983 Royal Academy Summer, 1991 Usher Art Gallery, 1996 Winchester Contemporary, Alresford Gallery, 1997 The Mall Galleries, amongst others.
