About the Artist:
He attended Camberwell School of Art and Crafts, 1958 – 1962, specialising in Painting, Lithography and Illustration. He was awarded the National Diploma in Design in 1962. He continued his studies at the Slade School of Fine Art, University of London (1962 to 1964) where he specialised in painting and etching. He was awarded the Slade Diploma in 1964.
His art has always been very eclectic. His interests ranged from landscape paintings in oils, watercolours and acrylics to pen and ink drawings. His inspiration comes mainly from the landscapes of Kent in South East England especially the coastal areas of Dungeness, Deal and Hastings.
He exhibited widely in London and the South East including the prestigious Bankside Gallery.
